So much of Australia’s job market is now online, which means all job seekers need to learn the basic computer skills required to navigate the Internet and to thrive in the job market. Possible Joblink consultants and instructors are available to help you, or someone you know, learn how to use computers as an effective part of job hunting. Our instructors will teach you how to use computers to create documents like resumes and cover letters; use the Internet to find vacancies, and use email and other online communication to talk with employers.
As a part of your professional development, you can learn how to use email to communicate with employers, be introduced to the Internet, and learn how to use Microsoft Office Software (2013) to create documents for work. Our computer workshop is designed to help you learn basic computer skills and improve your confidence in using a technological device to search for employment. In a classroom setting, our experienced instructor will work with a small group of individuals to provide supportive step-by-step process on techniques to effectively use the Internet, create documents on Microsoft Office, and send out emails to employers. You will also learn general computer skills needed to navigate the Internet, the skills will be useful for work, study or personal search. Each session will be group lead rather than instructor-led, so you can learn at your own pace.
If you, or anyone you know, struggle to use computers, feel free to get in contact with us by filling in the form below, so we can help you exceed your potential.
